2012 China (Beijing), International Fair on Trade in Services

Next year, The China Trade in Service Congress (CTSC) will be upgraded to be the China (Beijing) International Fair on Trade in Services (CIFTIS) as an annual event that will be forever located in Beijing. It will also be part of the China Market Entry Program for the Most Outstanding Industry Solutions'.

Qiu Hong, Assistant Minister of Commerce of China, announced that approved by the State Council, China (Beijing) International Fair on Trade in Services (CIFTIS) will be held from May 28 to June 1 every year in China National Convention Center. As an international and comprehensive platform for service trade at a state level, the CIFTIS, with the theme of "Trade in Services: New Vision, New Opportunity and New Development", is sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by the People's Government of Beijing Municipality.

CIFTIS will be the only platform that covers 12 industries of service trade in China.

The Industries include Commercial service, Telecommunication service, Architecture and Engineering Services, Financial service, Tourism service, Entertainment and Sports service, Transport service and so on.

Over the past decade, China's domestic consumption kept a 15% per year growth which was expected to be maintained in the future. Besides, imports will subsequently have an apparent growth. With the continuous rapid growth of China's consumption which brings a significant increase in imports, China's service import from abroad is expected to surpass 1.25 trillion in the next five years.
